In the harsh, arid climate of northern Kenya, nomadic people share their lands with elephants, lions, the rare Grevy s Zebra, and many other species of wildlife, which can cause conflict. National Rangelands Trust is a non-profit organization based in northern Kenya that is educating women to understand, benefit from, and conserve the wildlife in their area through the creation of a sustainable fair trade enterprise, producing hand-beaded gifts and accessories.
